    We don't NEED proof.

    a) offense sucked

    b) Muschamp is hated as the HC

    therefore

    c) Muschamp handcuffed Pease...

Tried and true Gator Conventional Wisdom...

Seems chump's supporters are the ones making claims with no proof.....

In a lot of game threads it was pointed out that we had some success running the ball and then we went totally away from it. KT , at times seemed to have a hot hand and we went away from that too. It was frustrating for many during the game thread.
Now you are trying to say that Muschamp interfered in the offense because he didn't want to move away from the same successful plays either? If anything it affirms that Pease had some problems calling plays dynamically, he seemed better at making some half time adjustments.

No, I was just saying that Muschamp's quotes in the article make it pretty clear he is ultimately responsible for the offense and is not "hands off" as far as play calling. I don't think there's any way we can know which plays Muschamp vetoed during the season/last three years, which plays he called, etc. My point is simply that, by his own admission, chump is involved in offensive play calling, doesn't like at least some of Pease's decisions, and has the final say. So the argument that some fans are "guessing" that chump is tying the OC's hands seems to be directly contradicted by chumps own words, unless you think he has veto power, is mad at himself for not using it, but in fact never uses it and isn't responsible despite what he himself said.

Exactly....the number of fools willing to OC for Boom is short and highly questionable.

If the same two people called plays in both the first half and the second half of the south Carolina game then that person needs to be evaluated for multiple personality disorder. There is no way that somebody didn't make a decision to try to sit on the ball in the second half. If that person was Pease then he deserved to be fired same goes for must champ. We may never now.
