Are the powers that be "special" or something? SMH.

    1) It has been discussed several times that many of the women players don't particularly like to be called "lady gators" as it seems to them it makes them a sub-class of Gators. I personally don't get it, but hey, I'm not of that gender.

    2) If calling them lady gators wasn't enough, you setup a whole new forum sub-group away from Gator sports. So now they aren't even a Gator sport?

Face it, you all should just bring back the "All (other) sports" forum in the Swampgas Gator Sports section and let this all go there. Good lord.

Ugh. We have been complaining because the women were getting buried in the other forums and we couldn't find them. Now we have complaints that we created a forum just for them???

Sorry GC. I thought this was a good thing. I was excited about it. Now I understand where you are coming from.

I agree with the desire for a separate forum for these sports, but why is it off away from Swampgas sports?

Right now this sub-forum has 1 forum.

If they plan to break-out all the individual womens sports out at some point, great, I get it, but to ship them off to a new sub-forum that some may never even notice seems odd.

Maybe I'm just a little too PC today.

And I guess men's tennis, men's golf, men's track, and men's swimming still end up in the baseball forum?

    SMH.

Does GC pay by the sub-forum or something?

Ok, instead of just complaining, I'll add my suggestion, which seems obvious but hey...

    In SwampGas Sports...

    Make these forums.

    Football
    - Subforum for Recruiting
    - Subforum for the NFL (maybe?) <- Tebow threads could go here!!!!!
    Basketball (mens and womens)
    - Subforum for Recruiting?
    - Subforum for NBA?
    Baseball and Softball
    Tennis (mens and womens)
    Golf (mens and womens)
    Track (mens and womens)
    Lacrosse

    Did I miss any?

You may just want to put an All Sports forum for some of those less followed sports as before. But I could imagine those who love Tennis would love a forum just for Tennis. Same with Golf. Track would be one I could see being a sleeper... but Lacrosse would probably be active during the season anyway.

i sorta liked one thread for tennis -mens/womens when they were playing concurrently. now, not only do we jump between threads but forums. likewise for softball/baseball.

i think the issue is: traffic. segregation may not be the best thing in that regard. i would prefer if something major happens - like gator gymnastics wins the nat'l title it should have a thread in swampgas and the 'den' for maximum exposure.

So move it to swamp gas. I like the lady sports being separate. Softball got buried in the baseball forum.

My, my, my. We wonder how things are not done? We seemingly ask for $1,000,000 worth of services for pennies per day or we complain about everything. My children are grown, but when they were little and were never satisfied, we just kept reducing the options. Eventually, and quickly, they understood that lack of gratitude was the father of fewer choices. And they shut up. And behaved better.
