Scout lists him at 6'8" tall and 220 lbs. He must be a good student IF UF has taken his commitment this early.

Only Gators has a write up on him saying he is 6'7" tall and 210 lbs.

Certainly plenty of time to put on weight.

Evan Daniels of FoxSports reported it. I received a notice from Bleacher Report. I can't post the article here.

6'8" and 220 lbs is pretty good size particularly for a 16 year old.

At 16, he could still grow a couple inches more.

BTW, looking for video on Mooney, I found a mention that suggests he might even still be 15.

Heard he was a double double kid his first year in HS and has a huge upside. Playing on same Team Nike squad as Parsons and Calathes

Reading about him, he sounds like a big man with perimeter skills. We've had good success under BD with guys like that. They really stretch the defense.

Yes, I think he could be the next great stretch four for us.

2016 is loaded in state (as is 2015), so this could be a great class.

His coach says he has always played PG, assume he grew too tall (only one Magic Johnson I guess). His coach also said he plays like a free safety in the press. Good ball skills so as said above I look for him to play some point forward as BD has always liked that.

I like what I'm hearing. Point guards that outgrew the position tend to be extremely skilled big men.

John Mooney? Seems a little old, but he's a bad dude. Saw him at the Maple Leaf in 2000.

You're never too old to drain it from downtown. In fact, that's the slogan for every 50 year pickup game "legend" across the country.
