Ha throw some names out then.

Kingsbury would help us with our biggest problem during the Muschamp era- Qb. Look at what he is doing with two freshmen qbs this season so far.

Well part of that is probably everybody around the QB's has been in the same system. I love how people bring his name up but say they didnt like that Muschamp was a 1st time head coach.

People fear change. Success is being able to be dynamic. Something we have lacked.

UF could have 99% of the coaches in the NCAA if they wanted. I honestly think there is only about 7 coaches that wouldn't leave their school to take a job at UF that was will to at least pay the same as his current job.

What made me want another coach is Muschamp's not recognizing our true rivalry games. He said Miami was "just another game and not as important as SEC"....WRONG! We need south Florida recruits and you never want them to get back up. Lastly, you just can't lose to UGaly

I don't think the majority of Gator fans would like that since he is 0-2 against Muschamp.

Strong is basically Muschamp except he has arguably the best QB in college and his competition is wack.

Does anyone actually watch Louisville play? They run a very conservative offense.

    1. Jay Gruden. Even as a head coach for the Orlando Predators I always thought he'd be a good college coach

    2. Kingsbury. We are in desperate need of something resembling an offense.

    3. Charlie Strong. As a head coach he has shown he can be good on both sides of the ball. Plus it's Charlie. Gator fans already love him

    4. John Gruden. Like his brother I think he'd be an amazing college coach. Just don't know how long term he'd be

Put a "bad boy" clause in his contract and bring on Petrino. The guy can put together an offense. Plus he's probably eager to get back to bigtime ball.

Please be realistic. We can not hire 99% of the coaches in the NCAA. Bull crap. I hear this from every fan base with a vacancy every year. Even KY had trouble hiring a basketball coach in the past and finally had to settle for Billy G. We do not pay our assistants a competitive wage and it is easier to win a NC in the ACC or any other BCS conference especially with the playoff system coming next year. Heck, Strong makes more than our head coach. We have had trouble hiring anyone when we have had a vacancy and our AD has not interviewed more than one candidate before hiring anyone.

Jay Gruden won't leave the Bengals for a college job. My guess is that he'd want to stay in the NFL and get a head coaching job.

My god, I can't believe how many of you are hoping for Petrino. I think it's pretty sad. Thankfully, he will never, ever be a candidate for the UF HC job.
