Keegan wins her second set. Only way she loses if if she gives it away. Much more talented than her opponent

Woolcock is better too, but not playing well. Very tight and lots of unforced errors.

Oyen is hanging in there, kind of hoping her opponent makes mistakes

Oyen letting her opponent beat herself, wins second set 6-4

Woolcock needs an offseason off getting footwork improved and in shape. Getting killed on drop shots she struggles to get to.

Morgan wins 2 straight to get to 5-4

Oyen wins her 2nd set 6-4. That's huge - I doubt she'll manage to win, but with Keegan being our least clutch player, the more out there the less pressure on her.

Morgan played really, really high level tennis in that second set. She wins 6-4 7-5.

The biggest win of her (college) career and she really deserved it.

Woolcock also forced a 3rd, so the Gators suddenly are looking good up 3-1 in the match.

    3rd sets:
    Oyen 2-0*
    Woolcock 0-0*
    Keegan *2-3

Absolutely...that was big time tennis. Was hoping she might steal the match, but sure never counted on her in straight sets

Crazy, Keegan has the biggest talent advantage and is the one struggling the most. Oyen match is the opposite, letting her opponent keep hitting it into the net

Keegan and Oyen both 2 games away from winning it.....huge turnaround from being down late in 5 first sets

Indeed, smartest match I've seen Oyen play all season. 5-0 now.

If someone had told me before this match that we'd win with doubles, Morgan and Oyen, I'd have thought no way, those are our weakest points.

Keegen back from a deficit to lead 4-3

Oyen wins at love against a quality opponent on their home court.....great great performance. Can't say enough about that last set and a half. Best of her career in my book

Some seriously happy Gators celebrating on court 3 right now

Keegan was up 5-3 and Woolcock 2-1...this was no fluke. Solid win

Sofie was slicing and dicing her opponent in that 3rd set. Created some sick angles. Very smart. Made for some very easy points for her.

Just a few minutes later UCLA clinches a 4-2 win, so that will be the SF opponent. IMO, despite the seedings, they are the best team, but beating UGA on their home court in front of a very large crowd should give our girls all the confidence in the world going into that one.

    Awesome win.
Beating UGA on their home court makes up for the disappointment of last night's finish (felt terrible for the men, such a great effort).

None of the top 4 seeds make it to the women's SF. The SF teams are:
    5) UCLA
    8) Florida
    11) Stanford
    7) North Carolina

So, either there is quite a bit of parity on the women's side or the rankings/seedings were extremely inaccurate (probably a bit of both).
