Men and women hosting first 2 rounds this weekend.
Women won easily yesterday vs So Car St, and will face Okla St this afternoon. UF changed up their doubles teams to mixed results yesterday. Something to watch, they have no chance in the final 16 without doubles playing well.
Slated to face UGA in the round of 8, probably won't make it past that round barring improved play across the board.

Men facing St Johns...comfortable lead in all 3 doubles matches right now.

USF upset FSU earlier today in a very close match and will be the opponent tomorrow.

In Roland's press conference on GatorZone, he mentioned Janowicz was just getting out of a boot this week, as the reason for the doubles changes (she did not play singles yesterday, but is in the lineup for singles only today). If she's not 100%, the team really has no chance to make a run - I'm thinking a QF would be a good result at this point and I'm honestly a bit worried about Oklahoma State today in R2.

The men are looking very strong with a quick 4-0 win against St John's today. USF tomorrow will be a much tougher test but the guys seem to be peaking at the right time. They will still probably struggle to get past R16, but it's a good sign for the future.

Yep, men looked good except for Watson. Think they will advance tomorrow, but will be distinct underdogs vs Oh St in the round of 16

I kind of like UF women in the round of 16 vs Vandy, but UGA should be round of 8 and I do not like that matchup at all.

Women get their butts kicked in doubles. Should be ok in singles, but not much positive mojo for next round

Good day Saturday, at the Ring Tennis Center for the men. Weather will be a factor on Sunday. South Florida is a very steady baseline type of team. So the matches will be long and grueling. Doubles, once again, could be a key for both teams.

Gator men won a tight doubles point vs USF. Looks like they only got about a game in in singles before the rain hit. Play resuming indoors at 6 per Gatorzone.

Gators have won 4 of 5 first sets so far (only Oyen lost), Keegan at 5-5.

Very impressive thus far (other than Oyen). If they continue to play this well they could spring a surprise.

    Jano and Woolcock cruising.
Morgan and Cercone close second sets
Oyen a no show, Keegan couldn't close her first set and loses in a tiebreak....she has struggled at times to finish this year

Looking very solid so far and Georgia is having a much tougher time early on with USC.

Janowicz seems to actually be playing much better her pre-NCAA "injury". Big win in doubles and steamrolling in singles against a girl she was losing to w last time.

Jano and Keegan make it 3-0, but UF trails in second set on all courts except Keegan....so may be out there a while unless Cercone can finish strong

I'm really surprised Morgan is making such a mess of her match against this b-grade Cercone that plays #1 for Vandy. I'd be very surprised if she lost the 3rd, but it would've been nice to close this one out quickly which it doesn't look like will happen now.

USC-UGA in a pretty good match. Dawgs won the doubles point and each team has won 2 singles matches.
USC won the first set in the 2 remaining matches, both at 7-5.

Morgan does that all the time. Don't know if it is concentration or what. Typically her fitness in the third is also a positive factor.
Even more aggravating is Cercone kicking it around in her second set. Focus and get off the courts and rest for tomorrow.
At least Oyen is showing life in her second set

Morgan back on serve but down 4-5
    Oyen up 5-3
    Cercone down 3-4
    Keegan up 3-1
So all first set winners are losing the second set
