    Lol. We'd be the biggest nightmare 11 seed in history. 7 seed today. Hopefully better by selection day.

    1986 LSU was an 11 seed. They got to play the first two rounds on their home floor. won them, and then went on to win their regional with a trip to the Final Four.

    Now that was a scary 11 seed.

    I hadn't really taken a close look at RPI prior to today, as I know it's been de-emphasized to a large extent by the committee. I'm perplexed as to why we are so much lower than several SEC teams with similar profiles. We are currently 47, behind 7 SEC teams. Our SOS is 32nd, which again seems low relative to other SEC schools. But then you have Arkansas (who we beat) at 35, with an identical record and 34 SOS. What gives? One would never guess that we're tied for 2nd in SEC if they looked at RPI.
