Wow, just saw that the Pacers and Wizards are at 39-37 in favor of Indiana.... in the 3rd quarter! Offensive ineptness I believe is one way to describe this game :D

Edit: Going by stats it looks like Hibbert is actually doing well though. Yes! Come on Pacers :) (though I hope Beal does well of course but so far he's only 2-10 and has 5 pts).

I suppose if someone is going to have a bad shooting night, you might as well have them all get it out of systems at once since you're going to lose anyway.

Pathetic offensive performance by Washington. Lost 85 63. HIbbert and the Pacers doing a lot of celebrating. Guess they think they have righted the ship.

Spurs with their 4th straight clinic game. If you like good basketball, they are must see tv.

People also thought too highly of Portland based on the Houston series. Lillard and Lopez are finding out that Parker and Duncan are on a whole other level than the likes of Beverly and Howard.

Wish I remembered who on here said that Tony Parker isn't even a top 15 pg in the league, then went on to say Ricky Rubio is better, and he's not even in Damien Lillard's league. Well Lillard is getting his ass busted and Parker looks great.

    Gottapanda:

I think of his post every time I watch Parker in the postseason this year.

The Spurs and Heat are reminding people not to place too much on regular season performances. Parker can't handle the same minute load throughout the regular season as the younger PGs. However, both he and Pop know this and limit his minutes. His stats will suffer but he still has enough to preform in the playoffs.

Perhaps, but they're still a 5 seed in the West, won a series and have a lot of talent, yet the Spurs have basically had them beaten every game by half time so far. Ridiculous. Plus, they just scored 20 points in the first 4:13 of the 4th quarter.

I don't think there has ever been a scoring margin so great from a 2nd round series in NBA history. I don't know where to look to find that out, though.

Except the Spurs secured the 1st seed with a healthy cushion and they were clearly gunning for it not wanting to have to play another game 7 on the road in the finals.

Great game between the Clips and Thunder. Don't know why you'd use all of your timeouts throughout the game if you're not going to make any adjustments or run an offense.

I'd tend to agree, but everyone said that 2 years ago, and after going down 2-0, OKC ripped SA apart. They'll do it again this year too because SA has no one that can guard Westbrook or even come close. Then OKC will get beat up in the finals again.

Really great game. Chris Paul is a joy to watch.

I like Chris Paul as a player, but he is a little bitch on the court...flops around all game long, argues every call and whines and complains....great PG though, just cannot stand his whining

Makes it doubly bad since there are two of them on that team.

I wouldn't put too much stock in what happened two years ago. Durant the rest of OKC started shooting jumpshots at an unbelievable rate. They would have beaten anyone in those 4 games. The spurs have much more outside of Duncan and Parker this time around. I can't see SA losing to OKC this year. OKC is a poorly coached team.

They were poorly coached back then as well and Durant is much better and Westbrook seems to able to reign it in more often. Ibaka is better as well. They don't have Harden of course, but they're still better now than 2 years ago. They beat SA all 4 times this year, with or without Westbrook and all by 6 points or more. 2 by double digits. It's just a really bad matchup for them.

Lebron goes for 49 and the Heat beat the Nets. Finally a great game in this series. So far no real surprises in these playoffs, except for maybe OKC not closing out the Clippers.
