    Those votes are from people who write for Bleacher Report (which is about as low as it gets when it comes to sports writers). It has nothing to do with the actual votes for DPOY.

    That being said, I do think Noah runs away with it this year on the actual vote.

    Noah is one of the fiercest and among the smartest defensive players I have ever seen play. I mean, he really reminds me of Bill Russel with some decent offensive capacity added. Not saying he is as good as Bill Russel, who was perhaps the best basketball player ever (no disrespect meant to Magic Johnson), but Russel was a dyed-in-the-wool winner and a team player of the highest type. What more could you ask for. Noah is not dissimilar.
