What does it have to do with what any party wants? I thought it was just pulling the leash on patently overzealous overreaction in his supposed defense. Why is he different than any other famous person publicly requesting that his particular fevered cult simmer down when they get out of hand?

Oh, maybe a President that ran on being "post racial"ought to wade on racial accusations. Especially when an organization accuses someone of being racist against him.

Him doing so would be an example of leadership. Not doing so is a legitimate example of lack of leadership.

Every time this President has had a chance to exert leadership on racial issues, he has failed. This is yet another example.

because you guys the ones calling for it. I don't think that many people are concerned enough or think it's nearly a big enough deal to demand a reaction from the president.

I said his representatives. That includes the media that carries his water. But yes, some of it has come from the WH. His official spokesman condemned it at a press conference saying it was not Missouri's finest hour. He could have defused it; he could have laughed it off. Instead he portrayed it as a serious transgression by branding an entire state.

Do you really think there was no pressure put on the officials who didn't just reprimand the clown but banned him for life? When people lose their jobs because of offending the sensibilities of Obama's supporters, it's time for him to step up and say enough.

I would settle for ones where someone stands accused of being racist against him.

They can start on Texas also they will have an obama clown this week Good for them

A Texas rodeo isn’t shying away from controversy — instead, they are doing the opposite and promoting an appearance of a rodeo clown wearing a mask of President Obama this weekend.

“You’ve heard about the controversy surrounding the Obama clown in Missouri,” read an announcement from the Mesquite Rodeo, according to the Dallas Observer.

“This weekend, an Obama clown is a special guest star as the Mesquie Rodeo puts on the grand finale to its 2013 season with non-stop action you will only find in the aptly named ‘Rodeo Capital of Texas,’” the announcement added.

    Doing what? Being mocked? Yes.

The mocker being accused of racism? Yes. Many times during this President's term, people that are critical of him and mock him are accused of being racist.

You would hope, the "post racial" President might address those incidents. At least the more public ones. Especially when a big organization such as the NAACP is the accuser.

Yet according to some polls, race relations are worse now that they were before this man became President.

The clown was doing his job. Protecting the riders and entertaining the crowd. If some stupid NAACP members are offended then so be it. If you want one of your own in the WH, expect him to catch hell. If he is as bad as Barry then really expect him to catch hell.
