How has UNC's production been under Andersen? I know they haven't been a strong team in recent years, but they don't come to mind as an offensive power.

Do you remember when SOS used to coach for us? We don't need to "slow it down"... we need a defense that can keep up, because other teams will have fast paced offenses. What will we do to prepare for that possibility?

We will be better prepared if we already practice fast passed offense, or if we slow it down just like the last two boring ass years?

I say we get a coach that teaches a fast paced fast hurry-up offense... for a change.

Baylor guy, for sure. I actually wanted their head coach. Now that that isn't gonna happen I'll take the OC happily. We need a guy that can do what Aubrin coach did...run up the score.

I am not a fan of that high school offense they run. I have some serious concerns about how much it would work in the SEC. Plus I dont think he is leaving the state of Texas unless it is for a head coaching job

They are missing the Fresno OC on that list as well.

I like that idea. How did he do last night? Didn’t see the final score of that game.

I just saw your post on that. But, this is the obvious one that's missing from that list... among others.

They scored 24 points. Had 400 passing yards. I read he has been contacted, but I am not sure what order he is on their list.

Add Christenson, Montgomery and Fresno OC with the current list of Anderson, Novell and Mazzone and the “potential OC” list is solid IMO. I’m not sure we could go wrong with either of them.

So it looks like Mike Shanahan will probably be fired by the Redskins.

Is he a possibility? Was the OC here from 80-83. Went from 0-10-1 in 1979 to 8-3 in 1980.

No chance he becomes a college OC. If we are getting a Shanahan it would be Kyle

Shanahan? Seriously? Why, from either point of view? How many years has he been an NFL HC now? Go back and work for a kid HC in college trying to get kids who already know it all--because they have been told how great they were from Pee Wee through high school-- to execute his concepts?

I can see him in some Momma's kitchen eating her apple pie and trying to tell her how he will tuck her baby in every night so the Gainesvilel PD won't get him.

I don't think fans would be welcoming to Kyle. Pro-set, run heavy. They tried to exploit RGIII's mobility last year and got burned. Now their offense makes Pease look like a genius.

Probably more likely since it looks like he may have visited Goolsby and Kelleher on the way back to Gainesville.
