Quick look at the names that were mentioned:

-Kiffen- confirmed that UF had no interest
-Bell- confirmed that UF had no interest
    -Christensen- new OC at Utah
-Anderson- new HC at Arkansas St
-Mazzone- given a raise at UCLA
-Norvell- given a raise and restructured title at ASU
    -Helton- ?
    -Applewhite- ?
    -someone off the radar?

    In Christ forever,
    Mike

If Mazzone only got $150,00 raise that shouldnt stop us from getting him if Muschamp really wants him

    My favorite combo would be
    Mazzone as OC
Lane Kiffin as TE or RB coach
OL- dont care as long as he is good

Sounds like a pretty good combination providing kiffen is on his best behavior and keeps out of trouble with the powers that be.

Has Legg even got a serious look by WM? I think he would be good also.

    -Christensen- new OC at Utah
Bowl game at previous school Jan. 3, 2014, 7:30 p.m.

-Anderson- new HC at Arkansas St
Bowl game at previous school Saturday, Dec. 28, 3:20 p.m. ET

On the "list" why does it seem Utah and Arky St had no problem securing and announcing the new coach even though the new coach still had an upcoming bowl game with previous school but UF can't/won't announce new OC until after his existing schools bowl game?

Who says a deal may not already be in place and it was asked by the new OC to not announce the hiring just yet? It could also mean that WM is still undecided, considering the recent HC hires and pay increases.

No Legg has not been mentioned in any articles or news related to the search but I have been trumpeting him for some time now. I wish would take a harder look at Legg, or CHarlie Taaffe. I would gladly take Marhsall's or UCF's offense this past year. These guys have done a great job turning offenses around in a hurry at places like Purdue and Maryland. They are probably not going to take a HC job in one season like all the others on the list. I think the narrow minded thinking that is taking place is frustrating. These guys would be as good a hire as Helton, ANderson or Norvell in my opinion, yet they focus on them. Frustrating.....

To be fair, we don't really know who Muschamp has been talking to. We're getting the media perception, and they may not have done research into which OCs have been performing like some of us have, and I am sure Muschamp has. But I agree with you it would be narrow minded if they haven't been considered.

Some writer out here on the west coast said that there was really bad blood between Kiffen and Mazzone. Don't remember the details.
Of course you could probably say that there is bad blood between Kiffen and---everybody

My biggest concern is WM hasn't made the best choices of OC thus far but hey third times a charm so I hear.

Christensen was no longer the Wyoming coach. Blake Andersen was going from assistant to head coach, The comparisons dont work. Now Iowa State fired their OC and their head coach says he is waiting until after Jan 1st. Muschamp just said he would hire after Jan 1st he didn't give a reason. We will see if he actually sticks with that date

I am not saying that he is even a candidate at this point, but any thoughts on Dennis Erickson as a potential OC candidate?

I didnt watch a lot of Utah last year only caught parts of 2 or 3 games but they were in the 60's or 70's in total offense and he just got demoted. He is also in his mid 60's.
