Hey Guys, Don't blame Barry for what is going on, Blame the vast left that chose him as a candidate. He has shown absolutely no penchant to govern or lead this country...he is only a mouthpiece for the left. He was chosen by the left ONLY because he was the most electable candidate at that point in time (which is another story of its on).

Can anyone on this board give us one reason why he is qualified to lead the greatest nation in the history of mankind?
As a matter of fact can anyone point a less qualified candidate ever?

We unfortunately are reaping what we have sown....I hope for the sake of this Country and our Children and Grandchildren we chose correctly next time around.....

    Now Say It Aint So......

he did redistribute wealth. you're right, you can't make that stuff up. you need to do more googling on this particular issue, before caving in to fox and friends, or breitbart or rush....you know, actually do some looking beyond the hate mongers who distort everything just to make it palatable to you folks on the right.

that's not amusing, bill. i have a good sense of humor as you know, but that's 'crap disguised as humor'. and it's not funny. maybe he should go back to the comedy drawing board. any comment about my being 'delusional' due to 'moonshine'....funny stuff...(Not)

but you understand that our health care costs are ridiculously high compared with other westernized modern nations. that's because we can get charged 250 bucks for a damn plastic toilet seat. or 50 bucks for a toothbrush in the hospital. or 5 bucks for a bandage. THAT's what you all need to look at, as far as why our healthcare is so much. do yourself a favor, and google the price of a plastic hip joint in THIS country then look up it's actual cost. disgusting actually.

gonna post this ONE (of many) articles that portray my point/attitude. it's up to YOU to understand it. i'm not explaining it further, i can't do a better job than is done here. don't like it? well that ALL of your prerogatives, just don't keep on insisting i am the dumbass here. plus, how smart was it to cut those taxes and then start unpaid for wars, and an unpaid for drug plan? who was supposed to pay for all of that crap?

    http://www.epi.org/publication/tenth_anniversary_of_the_bush-era_tax_cuts/

The Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 (the first of a series of Bush-era tax changes) was enacted on June 7, 2001. Since then, the Bush tax cuts have exacerbated the trend of widening income inequality, accompanied the worst economic expansion since World War II, and turned budget surpluses into deficits.

On this 10th anniversary of the first Bush-era tax changes, the following 10 facts should be noted:

1 The Bush tax cuts disproportionately benefited the wealthy.
The Bush-era tax cuts1 conferred disproportionate benefits on those at the top of the earnings distribution, exacerbating a trend of widening income inequality.(this would be what you'd call 'wealth redistribution'.

In 2010, the top 1% of earners (i.e., tax filers making over $645,000) received 38% of the breaks in the 2001-08 tax changes; 55% of the tax breaks went to the top 10% of earners (those making over $170,000).2

The top 0.1% of earners (i.e., making over $3 million) received an average tax cut of roughly $520,000, more than 450 times larger than the share received by an average middle-income family.3

A multitude of tax cuts overwhelmingly benefited the wealthiest Americans. These cuts included lower tax rates on capital gains and dividends, elimination of both the personal exemption phase-out and the limitation on itemized deductions, lower marginal rates for the top two tax brackets, and lower estate tax rates and an increase in the estate tax exemption. For instance, individuals in

I like the fact that I got to keep more of what I earned and it bothers me little that others make less- I worked hard to get myself to the level of income I have and do not in any way think it is my responsibility to give it to solme yokel who did not earn it

if you make the most you should get to keep the most

if people are unhappy with their income they can either get a 2nd job or they can give up the cigs, booze, drugs and cell phones or both

my wife and I did without for a long time to save to be able to start our own business-we are debt free and we worked hard to get there-

I acknowledged he did. Try reading comprhehension for 1000 Alex...

He redistributed wealth by doubling the child tax credit and incorporating one of those here is $600 ($1200 if married and filing jointly) and it phases out after you make a certain amount. Hence the "poor" and "middle class" received W's redistribution at the expense of the "rich" and single people!

Cutting marginal tax rates for EVERYONE is not redistribution. Giving tax credits is...

Research what? The doubling of the child tax credit? Or the tax credit to stimulate the economy for those making LESS than a certain amount?
