Let me say before posting, I tend to make stupid Pub posts on days when the Gators lose, because it gives me somewhere to check on Gator Country without having to read all the garbage on the main boards.

Anyway I have developed a theory from watching our Yorkie Demmi Dog. You see when Mrs51 takes Demmi Dog for a walk she always gives her 2 doggie treats afterwards. So a while back I took Demmi Dog for a walk and afterwards gave her a treat, she would not touch it and stood there and whined. Mrs51 said she knows she is supposed to get 2 treats and that is why she was acting so strange.

So for the past few weeks I have been taking Demmi Dog for her walk and just for the fun of it I tried to condition her for 3 treats. So last night I thought I would throw Demmi a curve and only give her 2 treats. She was happy with 2. Tonight I took her out and when we got back I threw her 1 treat and she would not touch it and stood there and whimpered again until I threw her a 2nd treat which made her happy.

Proof positive dogs can't count past 2.

    What do you think?

Good news Demmi knows Driskel threw 2 INTs. Does she know about the fumble?

This is true. Dogs are aware of two numbers and only two numbers.

    One
    More than one

The amount more than one is irrelevant to them since it does not exist in their numbering system.

I'm telling you dogs have it made. Lay around all day, get fed, they can sometimes get away with taking a dump on the floor and when they see a piece of tail they want they just go sniff it and start humping. Now I find out they don't have to do any math more complicated than 1+1=2.
