Sounds like Leonard Cohen. Now, for your morning coffee.
New World Order - Ministry
Cleaning out my truck, I found one of my favorite CD's I thought I had lost. Third Eye Blind's debut album. KILLER!
There There- Radiohead on ACL rt now. Awesome!
Not listening to it yet but looking forward to listening to the new Megadeth on Tuesday.
A blast from the past..
Heard him perform at BG's Legends live last night on WXRT. The kid is a dead ringer for Clapton. Wish I'd been there. What a night it was. Loved hearing the Kinsey Report. Wish I was at Pritzker Pavilion right now for the festival. It's a gorgeous day today, sunny and mid-60s.
FWIW, Buddy Guy's Legends is not to be missed on a trip to Chicago, even if Buddy's not playing. More satisfying than deep dish pizza and far fewer empty calories.
Alex Clare - Damn Your Eyes...not an official video, but awesome awesome song, and what a voice!
Rocking out with grace potter and the nocturnals at mandalay beach. She's fantastic live.
Queens of the Stone Age new album
Last nights set list.
Going to see Glenn Hansard live at Pritzker Pavilion tomorrow. Free of course. Almost everything at Pritzker is free. I think Gehry may have intentionally designed it in a way that made it hard to put in ticket gates.
I've been listening to a ton of Cream lately. Hadn't been a huge fan, previously, and not necessarily a fan of Clapton but Jack Bruce's bass playing has intrigued me. That along with Ginger Baker's style. I feel more fortunate now than ever having seen him play with Masters of Reality some 20 yrs ago.
