    I saw Victor Wainwright & the WildRoots last night. Fantastic sold out show at The Bank & Blues Club. Great little place that was recently renovated with a nice sound system, stage, acoustic ceiling over the stage, new stage lights, all new chairs and carpet upstairs and down. Vic rocked the house with his boogie woogie blues piano.

    Never heard of Victor Wainwright before, so thanks for the tip. Downloading a couple of his songs tonight.

    Came across this song by Staind - Something to Remind You. I generally don't like Staind's hardest rock stuff, but really like Aaron Lewis' ballad songs, both with Staind and in his country-esque solo album.

    I sat with a Gator alum and his parents who had never heard him either. They saw it mentioned in the local paper and thought it would be something to do. The young man had not listened to blues much, and didn't know what to expect. He bought a CD after the first set. In the second set, Vic slowed it down to play "I'd rather go blind" and when it finished he turned to me and said "That was unbelievable!" They were even more enthused to meet Victor after the show.
    Victor tours Florida a lot. He will be in St Pete in a couple weeks with "Southern Hospitality", a band he formed with JP Soars and Damon Fowler. People are calling it a 'blues supergroup.' They just recorded a CD produced by Tab Benoit, a well known New Orleans guitarist/singer.

    Zeppelin, baby.... Keep on rockin! Was watching a little bit of the tribute to David letterman last week. Dave had some serious company sitting next to him. the POTUS, Dustin Hoffman and Zeppelin, among a few more.

    One of my favorite Radiohead songs. I downloaded both the album and From The Basement but I find myself listening to the basement version.
