The "conservative" offense did not win us 11 games last year. Out defense did that. This offense brought us to the brink of losing several games, and causing the two extremely painful and avoidable losses. We should have blown out most of out opponents. While I feel we can do better than a plodding unexciting offense, even that is fine when you eliminate the mistakes. These same mistakes keep happening every game. We have squandered countless scoring opportunities for years.

well then what does it mean.... more jet sweeps that are predictable...OOO how about the ever so not dangerous trey burton get in the wildcat again and not hand the ball off as usual. i would love to see how else this offense can "open up" until #6 makes some better decisions and makes progress going through progressions. until then we run, as we should.

If we would just run until we ran the ball into the end zone that would be great. For some reason we are unable to score predictably. There are way too many mistakes, and there have been for years.
Our defense is capable of winning SEC championships and national championships. They have been for years. The offense is not. It has not been for years. Our offense is capable of allowing the other team chances to score. We had 15 turnovers in the last 3 games.
I honestly do not believe we can make it to an SEC championship with our current system. If we do, it will be infrequent. If we couldn't get there at 11-1 what is the chance of going 12-0 every year? We absolutely can't make it to a national championship like we are. The worst implosion of last year (Georgia) cost us the SEC championship opportunity and possibly the NC opportunity (we probably would have lost to Alabama). When we get the the highest tier teams the weak offensive play becomes too much of a deficiency to overcome, and they are able to exploit it to the fullest. Yet no significant improvement occurs.

We have a lot of potential upside since the defense is so good. By adding a dominant offense we could have an epic team.

I consider the offensive failings of USC to be the responsibility of Lane Kiffen. I also find the gators to be in a similar situation, just a different record last season. If the losses begin to mount for UF this year, the decisions will need to be addressed. The thing is, there have been so many red flags the past few seasons it is hard to understand what is happening.
If Pease has been brought here to run the offense, then let him do it. He is supposed to have expertise in this area and we hired him to institute his style of offense, so let it happen. If this is his offense, then it may take a while to come to terms with that. The defense is being led by Muschamp with good results. We should continue this. The offense is probably being primarily run by Muschamp with miserable results. This should not continue.

Last year we were 118th in passing. So far this year USC is 112th.

I wonder why Soloman patton keeps jumping when he catches the ball. He did this against Toledo and dropped a pass and he did it during the touchdown pass against Miami. Jorden Reed also used to do this. Why are the coaches not changing this poor technique.

See that too -- you'd think Joker would be all over him for that. And it's very correctable with practice.
