For whatever it's worth. I think this explains some (a lot?) of what we saw today. He was clearly unable to throw the ball with any accuracy/touch. Not sure why we tried to throw so much.

He was clearly off today... but yeah... what a strange time to finally try and throw on first and second down.

Murph missed that throw to Burton on the goal line, but generally he was not even close to the main problem today.

Blaming Murphy is like blaming my car stereo for not drowning out the noise from my crappy motor.

Just because Murph didn't practice, didn't mean that the OL couldn't practice either...

The guy who said in post 1 that his lack of practice explained what we saw today.

I would venture to guess he means it explains what we saw out of Murph today (a lot more missed passes then usual for him). His second sentence pretty much says as much.

You'd have to spin that pretty mightily to think he's blaming Murph for the loss.

He should not even been talking about Murphy. Even Peyton Manning would struggle with our pathetic OL.

That was the start of the falling dominos today. If Murphy was 100%, he hits that pass on the money and we are off to the races. We certainly wouldn't leave the defense out to hang all game long!!!

Thing of it is, if he was having problems and was not able to practice most of the week I wonder we did not have another guy at the position. Every week when we get the game threads posted, we list all our QBs on the Roster, in addition to Driskel and Murphy, we have 6 other guys. So give another guy a chance. Surely most, if not all of them, are good QBs. If they weren't I don't think they would be on the Roster, at least as QBs.
