Murphy a 2 star QB?

    Victor Cruz and Chris Johnson were both 2 star recruits, just to name a few. There are tons of guys who slip through the ranking cracks. Same goes for the move to the NFL - sometimes you don't realize what you've got till a guy has a chance on the field. Just remember, Kurt Warner was bagging groceries for a while.

    Fsu HC Peterson sent a young asst. coach named Bill Parcels to Miss. to recruit a RB.

    Fsu also passed on Jack Youngblood......Up until Emmitt.....UF's only NFL HOF

    Murphy is just one example, so I don't think it shows how flawed the system is anymore than Tebow and Percy's 5th star proves how flawless it is. There is definitely a correlation between stars and college stardom, but like many have said, it isn't perfect.
