    For a free antivirus I have always used Avast!

    I've also moved from MSE to Avast. Did it awhile back.

    Check out Bitdefender, Vipre, Zonealarm, AVG, Kaspersky. All are good and most have a free version. I have used Vipre, Zonealarm and AVG
