"I'm ready to punch him in the face and knock him out. That would be ideal."
    - Chris Weidman, challenger, on his title fight against champion Anderson Silva.

Looks like its just me and you Ray... Im shocked at the lack of interest in an Anderson Silva fight. This looks to be the closest he has come to fighting someone who can beat him.

I'm surprised too. The last time we posted a UFC thread it had a lot of posts and views. At age 38 I m not so sure Silva can win this one. Weidman is undefeated so far.

Silva is still the best in his division.

The only way Silva loses is if he plays around and taunts Weidman like he usually does.

If you are watching the PPV fights it would be great if you could just let us know who the winners are.
    Thanks :)

Swanson landed a nice uppercut then threw Siver and landed on him in side control then mounted him for the last minute of round 2.

Holy crap Cub Swanson just started teeing off on Siver's face at the beginning of the third round and knocked him down then knocked him out.

The Gracies need to reinvent themselves or stop trying to fight UFC. Nothing wrong with creating BJJ world champs, but don't hurt your brand by putting your fighters against strikers that train for UFC all day all night.

If Anderson actually fought, there would be no contest. I like Weidman, seems like a nice guy and he is a really good fighter but Anderson just got caught while playing.

Silva is retiring right now... This is kinda sad.

Weidman won the belt because Silva let him win, the title really shouldn't be his.

Silva said he is not retiring. He said he will not ask for a rematch because he wants Weidman to have his moment instead of it being overshadowed by the rematch.

He can move up and fight at 205.
