That's interesting. I guess Scotty's suspension didn't help, especially if Mitchell likes to partake in some extra-curricular activities that many other college student regularly participate in. Lol!

In all seriousness. I do wonder if the suspensions did hurt, if they thought Billly is too hard on players, or if this is a playing time issue.

I know that the staff was in contact with him, but do we know if Mitchell really had a legitimate offer?

I'm no insider, but he didn't appear to be high D1 calibur. I realize Scottie wasn't on the radar really but he would have been a top 100 player if he wouldn't have reclassified. Not so sure we can say the same about Mitchell, although someone may have sources that state otherwise.

    Best of luck to him.

    1. I agree, S.Wilbekin is often down played here because he reclassified and was never really rated on the recruiting sites.

    2. It appears M. Wilbekin was not quite the prospect his brother was. That might in part be due to his injury.

    3. I suspect that he will make a solid player for Tulsa. While we seem set at PG for now, I hope we do not regret not signing him.

He wouldn't turn down Florida for Tulsa. This has nothing to do with us.

He was dynamite against his peers as a 9th grader. They got better, he really didn't. He's a talented player, but we've got more talented guards committed already.
