tigers up 2-0 bottom of the 5th
Game 2 Tracker
2 outs away from a complete game no hitter for tiger pitcher
no hitter for thomas
missouri wins 2-0
FLORIDA at 18-6 (.750) no games left to play
Tennessee at 15-5 (.750) two games left to play
w/ the loss, vols drop down into a tie w/ florida based on % points
If their game tomorrow gets rained out, do we win the SEC based on head-to-head?
If I doesn't rain out, looks like they have to get both games in order to beat us. Split the two, and we have a higher percent!
We can't finish with the same percentage points unless they didn't play either of the last two games, but with a DH scheduled for tonight that shouldn't be a problem. But if they both ended at .750, it would be a split championship.
The only other negative scenario would be if Tennessee won the 2nd game tonight and tomorrow's game got rained out. But as long as Missouri wins the series, FLORIDA gets another championship.
Mizzou up 1-0, top 3. They are not throwing Thomas again. Their #2 Hudson is not very good, so I'd be surprised if she can hold down the Tennessee offense for long.
3-1 Tennessee, top of third.
10-1 Vols bottom of the 5th.
And that's the final.
I think I have this straight ...
If Missouri wins tomorrow, we are SEC champs.
If Tennessee wins OR the game is rained out, Tennessee is Sec Champ.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
You are correct, sir.
45 and partly cloudy in Columbia right now.
Mizzou is not pitching Thomas, Tennessee up 7-2 in the 3rd.
