The girl is now dead and no complaint filed but police plan to open the case. Title IX in question and possible cover up. I am waiting for them to call in special consultant Willie Meggs to tell them just call a press conference and laugh it off. Considering Outside the Lines is bringing this case up without a complaint by the accuser and four year old crime I cant believe they haven't at least looked into the obvious behavior by the TPD and FSU. Certainly there is a lot more available to them to go after the TPD. Hopefully, Rapeis is next on their list of features.

No matter what happens they will hold the trophy up high in Tally...even if Winston and Co. are found to have roofied multiple women during their stay in Tally.

Sad commentary on our society that there are those who value sports, championships over right and wrong. As a whole I really think our culture is rottening day by day. Millions of babies aborted, politicians lie to get power and hold power, knock out game, and on and on.

We tend to think things were better in the past, but I'm not sure they were. Lots and lots of bad stuff happened in the 40s, 50s, 60s... you name the time... bad stuff has been going on.

true to a point. there has always been bad stuff happen and bad people. instant info, 24 hour news, internet, now social media make us all more aware than in years past. also, today's society looks differently on "marginal behavior" than in years past, say what you want but its true.

Didn't exactly jump into my mind, but yeah... that was a bit offside. ;)

More generally, the murder rate is less than half what it was in the 50s. Violent crimes of all sorts are way down also.

We just hear about everything these days, so what does occur gets magnified. And the media and politicians play things up for their own purposes.

Not trying to hijack this thread to Too Hot, so that's the last I'll post on this issue.

The network that ran this story also shamelessly and obtusely led the parade for Winston and broadcast his Heisman presentation.

OOOOf. That is a hard watch. Beautiful, smart, talented... gone. Mental illness is truly an equal opportunity villain. Give your ppl struggling w/ mental health an extra hug and prayer.
