    Yeah, and that draws into the point of the OP, which is about a more generalized, shared "misery" among fans.

    I get it, if you're used to some modicum of success and your team is flailing (or recently lost), you're going to be more anxious about the team.

    That is not really accurate. Sure after the concussion there was more of it, but on the premium side and in chat there were calls, as I said, for Brantley to get his shot even while we were still undefeated....

    Of course Dan Mullen became a hero in that season that he was not here and posters made the comments that Brantley might be the better choice for The Dazz and Tim could come in on short yardage plays.
