"The rigors of the 17-week NFL season can wear down anyone ... even Mike Ditka.

The 74-year-old Chicago Bears icon appeared to doze off on the set of ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown" on the final day of the regular season. Luckily for Ditka, co-panelist Keyshawn Johnson was there to give him a nudge."

Well, the NFL provided plenty of excitement yesterday. Esp if you're a Packers, Eagles, or Chargers fan. Speaking of Ditka, perhaps my favorite coach presser was his "What's it matter to you? Next question!" Pure gold.

Berman can put anyone to sleep with his tired schtick. Ditka has no use for bullcrap, but needs the money.

To tell the truth, NFL games can often put me to sleep. On Sunday afternoons I can turn a NFL game on TV, sit in my easy chair with the Sunday sports section, and before you know it zzzzzzzzzzzz. College games are much more exciting, I don't have that happen with them.

Keyshawn looks concerned, probably thought he was dead.

I've worked with both of them on commercial production. Yea, Berman is a motor mouth, but he's a very personable, likable guy. Ditka is a drunk and when he's sober, he's an asshole. He didn't fall asleep. He passed out.
