As of last year, we had all the momentum in recruiting. I think due to our season last year, these Miami kids took notice and jumped on board. However, since this season went as bad as it could go, the Miami kids have started to waver. We don't land a ton of Miami based athletes, but this year was the exception. In the end my gut tells me Cook Lane both end up at Miami. I know FSU is having a great year, but I don't buy that hype. It's us or Miami period. This offensive class is vital to Muschamp turning the O around. Also, if Cook leaves Phillips leaves as well. If we hold onto these two and they become studs here, it only opens the Miami area to UF that much more. Not saying this class hangs in the balance of two kids, but other than Grier these two are the foundation of this class. I have a little faith in Champ, but if he is going to be Great these are the type of recruiting battles you HAVE to win. If we lose these two, another Diggs, Agohler, kind of impact Offensive player, it just goes to show Muschamp can't get that elite offensive talent.

Cook and Lane are both heading to FSU (as of now). So is WR Travis Rudolph.

Didn't he just say Florida was in his heart two days ago? I'm not going to get too high or low until the 15th.

Zach's mail stack from the 6th isn't all doom and gloom, when did he say that?

I feel the same. I can't blame a kid for not wanting to play in this offense when they can turn on the tv and see dynamic offenses like FSU (crap competition be damned) or Auburn.

What offense are you referring to? We don't have an OC.

He's talking about Muschamp's last two offensive coordinator duds that he himself hired... I just hope to GOD that 3 is the charm. We cannot afford another dud Offensive coordinator again.

The coaches just had in home visits with all these guys. And coach t-rob came away feeling better about cook, and lane especially, saying they thought he was gonna take other visits but after the in home, they feel he will only visit UF and that they feel he is considered a "solid" commit per a. Spivey.

My opinion...... i think the are trolling, at least lane. Seeing all this attention cook is now getting, it's kind of anti-climatic for the recruit who commits early and shuts it down. I believe he is just trying to rile up the masses to see their responses. I'm saying both cook and lane will be gators after all this recruiting drama is said and done.

Remember, they originally committed to the offense we had already which we know wasn't very good, I can only imagine whatever offense we go to will be better, therefor I'm not sure how important knowing who the new OC is with these south fla. Guys. Muschamp and definitely T-ROB are the only thing that matters with these kids. And possibly playing time which we also have available

Anything and everything I have seen from Cook on Twitter tells me he is still committed to Florida. He is always talking up the Gators. I too think this is a little bit of a show. I may be wrong but I would be surprised if either of these guys signed with anyone other than the Gators.

I hope you know something. It's odd to me he signed the financial aid paperwork with fsu/miami before UF but that could me meaningless.
