I was reading a stat in another article that said Miami is 1-10 against top 10 teams since late 2005!!!

What is more shocking? Being 1-10 or only playing 11 top ten teams in 8 seasons?

    No wonder their attendance sucks

Playing in the ACC doesn't provide a ton of chances to play top 10 teams.

I'm more shocked they're 1-10, how did they managed to win a game against a top 10 team?

We seem to only play them when they are up and we are less than our best. Too bad we did not play them all the years in between when we were dominant and they sucked. It kills.me.they have the series advantage.

Another interesting stat that I heard on local sports talk radio yesterday - and that's Miami local sports talk radio, so needless to say I am getting fired up down here - is that it has been a surprisingly long time since UM has started a season 2-0. And they did win their first game so let's hope that trend continues also, along with the record against top competition.

The Canes made their bed, now they need to 'lie' in it and die.
Couldn't be happier they chose the Almost Competitive Conference.

It has nothing to do with them being in the ACC, Player. One would think a historically great team like Miami would eat the ACC alive. Only FSU out-recruits the Canes. Yet they never even MADE it to the ACCCG.

Something went very wrong at Miami, and I am not sure what it was, but I suspect it has a lot to do with the evolution of prep talent in the state of Florida from the early 1980s to today...
