What's wrong with the Blue pants? I'm good with all our combos but the orange jerseys I just don't like them, we don't look like Florida in them.

I wish we would try an inverted color scheme on the helmets. Like a white shell, with gators script. Or blue shell with script. Just for a change up...think it would be sharp , myself.

I like the white jerseys with orange pants the best.
When you wear the orange helmets with it, it looks fantastic.

Yep...for those of us who first were indoctrinated into Gator football in the 1980s, orange is very much part of our heritage.

    Typical UM retardation.

I'm sorry, that was out of line. I apologize to all retards for insulting them by comparing them to the Hurricanes.

The "white out" is dumb because it's only going to highlight the LARGE number of Gator fans who will be there. I don't think it will be as high as 50% or more like some have predicted, but it will definitely be a substantially larger number of visiting fans than you would normally see at a home game.

Whereas if they had told everybody to just dress normal, the orange & green would've blended with the orange & blue and it would've been hard to tell who was who. Then you wouldn't be able to see how many Gator fans are there.

And the t-shirt design itself is dumb because of, among other reasons, the sunglasses pictured on the shirt pocket. If you're outside watching a game why would you have your sunglasses in your pocket, instead of wearing them?

Typical Cane fans - their shades are in their pockets because they are indoors watching on TV. And that includes a not-insignificant number of UM season ticket-holders who sold out their team and sold their tickets to Gators for more money than any Cane could afford.

Exactly...it's Orange & Blue....not Blue with a touch of Orange.
The helmet does not really fit our blue jerseys like a uniform should.
Either bring back the retro UF helmet or change the jersey to match.
Hope I never see blue on blue again either.

Last time I checked, white out was used to cover mistakes.

The UF attendees will easily be at least 65% of the total attendance.....you obviously haven't gone to many UM games.

"The Florida Gators re-open their rivalry with the in-state Miami Hurricanes this weekend and there are some “BlackOut” helmets that have surfaced as a potential look for the team in Week 2. Florida has never been shy to tweak with their look and add some alternate Nike Pro Combat uniforms, so many believe that this could be the look the team rolls out when they face the Hurricanes for the first time in five years.

Here is an image of the black helmet, which was leaked by @GatorNationU Wednesday night on Twitter:"

Okay, you got me on that one buddy. Guilty as charged. Despite living in Miami I for damn sure have not gone to many UM games. If you've had the benefit of that experience then perhaps it helps explain your user name?

my username is my initials so not sure what you're taking from that one......

Yes, I have been to a handful of UM games over the 30 or so years I have lived in south Florida. Does that make me an authority? No. But I do know a thing or two about UM's typical attendance for football games.

When UM plays a game against FSU, the crowd is usually somewhere around 50/50. when they play anyone else, the stadium is usually around 50% empty.

that along with the fact that it's been 10 years since we've matched up down there, I expect UF's crowd to be at least 50% of the total attendance. However I am predicting a larger percentage. Somewhere around 2 out of 3.

if we can manage 50% of the crowd for that Broncos game two years ago against Dolphin fans, then we can certainly outdraw the pathetic contingent that is the UM fans.

Never thought I would say this, but I agree with madgator! Gator Nation is pumped and showing up in force for this game! It's going to be a sea of orange and blue and our fans need to do their part to make it a pro Gator crowd!
