Well both are private and incredibly expensive but here's the difference- the Miami degree is the one you mention for street cred when buying a dozen kilos of coke, the Vanderbilt one is the degree you look for when the Feds bust you with said coke.

Lets not give them credit for building a stadium! Just tenants ...just like orange bowl...if they built a 50 thousand seat bowl somewhere down in that hell hole they may gain an advantage again...it a sterile pro environment...orange bowl had something, we may not have liked it but that place was something in 80s and early 90s

Seriously this guy is on crack cocaine. He thinks Miami has 40,000 season ticket holders? Bwahaha! I called up to inquire about a ticket to this game and the Miami ticket office practically begged me to buy season tickets trying to sell me on what a great deal it was. Gator Nation is showing up in force for this game. Going to be embarrassing on national TV for scUM!

Come on, don't be so harsh..... We all know Miami fans snort the yayo not smoke it! Seriously, the Canes rise coincided with the rise of the drug cartels in South Florida-- it's not a coincidence.

This is Miami's sell-out game and the one that they invite all the recruits to attend. They deceive recruits to think the stadium is always full when infact the only sell-outs are when they play UF or FSU. I don't want to ever play UM again in Miami, as it only helps them in recruiting and to increase their avg attendance figures for the season. Stadium is half empty otherwise.

My thoughts exactly. I was wondering how a white-out would go with less than 50% of attendees supporting the team calling for it.

Some may call it a white out but on TV it's going to look a lot more like several people just decided to wear white

Gator fans need to get there early. Accept the shirt and promptly throw it in a trash can. They will run out before the late arriving bandwagoners stumble in.

This is not entirely accurate. They also sold "group" tickets to this game, many of which were bought by Gator Clubs. I know for a fact that the Miami, Broward, and Palm Beach Gator Clubs combined bought well over 1,000 tickets directly from the Miami ticket office alone. I also know that the Space Coast and SW Florida clubs also bought group tickets...and it's likely that some of the others did as well.

I also know a few Miami season ticket holders who are UF alums that live in South Florida. They root for Miami most of the time...but now when they are playing UF. Plus, i'm sure lots of those "Hurricane Club" members who bought extra seats either gave them to Gator friends or sold them on Stubhub to Gators. There will be 30k-plus Gator fans in the stands, bank on it.

Haha. I hope they invite all of their recruits to this game to witness what we are going to do to them with half the stadium wearing orange and blue.

As the Cane stated, UF was only given 12, 500 tickets of which only 800 were in the lower bowl. Foley has said this will be the end of UF-Miami as a home-and-home series for a long time and the ticket distribution is a major reason why (per tweets by Mark Long).

The Canes knew UF would have a huge crowd at the game and UM did everything possible in ticket distribution to minimize the UF fan impact in the stands. It does look like UF fans and Gator clubs circumvented that by buying up multiple thousand Miami season tickets.

The good thing is UM needs UF way more than the other way around.

A white out? Ohhhh no! Do you think our guys will be too afraid? I wonder if we will show up? That is scary! A white out?

Loser schools resort to gimmicks like that---teams that are not used to winning. South Carolina has had how many black outs or white outs? How many SEC championships have they won? Miami is now resorting to gimmicks. How many ACC titles have they won?

I think it will be around 65-35 in favor of the Canes in attendance. This is the one game our fans will be coming to the game but the Gators will def. have a presence in the game.

With the exception of Tech & LSU, the visiting school wears white, and it is THEIR prerogative as to any alterations to that.

Why we would grant any such request by UM, is beyond me.

We should wear white jerseys and blue pants. scum will wear orange jerseys.

I just hope neither team wears the all-one-color, thug/stormtrooper look. What these kids like about that, I have no idea.

Muschamp doesn't appear to like the blue pants, it'll be all white (yuck) or white jerseys and orange pants (awesome)
