This is a good thing for miami?
Ahhhhhhhh moral victories.
Tell me wimpy wading bird fan, what kind of season did Miami have that year?
Clear to me
"I always dreamed of playing drums to entertain a plastic seat!", said the Miami Band Member.
In 2003 they were one game removed from the national title game. That's the thing about bandwagons ... people fall off of them pretty quickly.
Great now you made me spill my coffee. In all seriousness I grew up in Miami and have lots of friends and family who went to Miami and they are all going to the game as they do for most home games. I think it will be a 60-40 to 70-30 split in the fan base in favor of scUM.
Well they are facing probation and have a terrible football fan base so you actually make a valid point.

The only orange we should wear on Saturday are our helmets.
If Miami wears their traditional orange tops and white pants, I'm hoping we go white over blue. We haven't worn that combo on the road under Muschamp.
83,500 is not bad for a nooner against Toledo.
Miami and Florida are both very highly regarded academic institutions, typically ranked in the top 100 of international universities. Fire away at each other with the ad hominems but they're false.
As for white trash in Florida, yeah... it's here in abundance. But it's everywhere, equally distributed from what I can tell from traveling the country.
No way we out number the Cane bandwagoners. We should have more fans there than any other fan base has had but it should still be a great environment for the Canes.
And I can't believe a Canes fan is trying to brag about academics on a Florida board. What has this world come to?
Let's see....they're both located in a big city, not a college town; they are both private; they are both small; neither has many fans. That's how they are similar.
They are different in that....Vandy is an elite school; Vandy is in the SEC; Vandy has its own on-campus stadium; Vandy doesn't have Donna Shalalalala as president; Vandy has a better football team.....Advantage, Vandy
Actually, this will help Miami more than you will ever know. :ninja:
Miami can plan their white out, while Florida is planning their blow out.
I don't know about easy, but tuition at UM is not cheap, almost 40k a year. UF is less than 6k. Let's be factual, better yet, relevant.
Well, they do give out more doctorate degrees than University of Florida.
Dr Evil, Dr Pepper, Dr Phil, Dr Dre, Dr Feelgood, Dr Jeyckl, etc
Sweet. These will be all over mugshots.com on Monday.
Vandy and Miami are both private schools.
That's where the similarities end.
I think Miami's student body is mostly from out of state, not quite the cracker factor UF has. They've got that Jersey Shore thing locked up though. I can just see some drunk cracker from Palatka getting into it with a smug body builder from Jersey City. They'll yell insults at each other until they realize that neither can understand a word the other is saying.
You know games last the full 4 quarters right? What was the final score?
