    Great report, thanks!

Had to chuckle at this part, though:

    :whoa:

I'm afraid to ask what you said to him that prompted that admission. Repped for testicular fortitude, buddy.

Lol...it went down like this at the beginning of our convo: Grier made a great play and Brent was standing in front of me, I said "Hey Brent, that kid is gonna look in a Gator uniform" his response was "You damn right he is". Few min later he leaned up against the fence and I asked how Driskell knee was, told him I was a diehard Gator fan and had came to see our future QB play tonite. He next response was " Well I apologize for that game last week, all those turnovers and honestly...I just made some shi#%y calls". I don't even think I responded right away, I was more less shocked at his admission and respect for me as a Gator fan. Pretty cool experience.

It will be nice to have a "number 7" taking the snaps for the Gators again in a few years.

Will seems like a great kid with all the right tools.

If you had to compare him to another player, what college QB or previous Gator QB does he remind you of the most?

Careful, I'm not sure you're allowed to comment on someone's testiculars on here...

Are coaches allowed to talk about unsigned players or does that rule just apply to the media?

Boy, I'd sure like to know what Peace told you. If he told some random fan he never even met before at a high school game a week after the fact (after time to cool down and reflect) I am sure it's not some top secret stuff that you cannot share...

Wow...tough comparison there. Its hard to say because he has the speed to run and a cannon arm with incredible accuracy. Not sure we've ever had that combo with his size. He's doesnt run over people like Tebow did. Honestly I'd say he's a closer version to Colin kaperknick, but obviously not at that level yet. He does possess all the same tools tho!

Danny Wuerffel accuracy with Driskel speed?

    I'll take it! :)

Arm strength is often overrated in college (although not in the pros). Not that WG has a small arm but his passes have an arc that is very reminiscent of DW.

He does have a little zip when needed but overall throws a very catchable ball. JD missed a couple of throws that could have used some touch, one that cost us a very costly score last week.

Give me an accurate passer over a cannon in college any day of the week.

Completely agree with you here. In our own history, it was the guys who knew where to put the football and when that won championships.
