I'd like for him to be able to start next year but I'm sure that's wishful thinking.

Sounds like you had a great time. Pretty cool that Pease would sit there and shoot the breeze with ya during the game and admit that he made some crappy calls. This kid sounds really special. Nice to finally read something positive around here! Thanks for sharing!

Not that I was deputized as Exit Police, but Davidson is exit 30 -- Cornelius is exit 28. If he weren't enrolled at Davidson Day and went to public school instead, he would be attending Hough High in Cornelius.

Grier's putting up some powerful numbers this season.

For the love of all that is holy, maybe we should just pull JD's scholarship ... that should help move things along ... damn.

Just a little grumpy about people already writing off our starting QB ... but I recall people "wishing" that Driskel would be starting as a True Frosh, as well ...

What is a Frosh? And yes I remember that. I think if we used Driskel correctly this offense would move smoothly.

I think you can still find it from #28. It's been a few years since I lived there, but I think you can get to US 21 from there.

True, but going south on 77, you would drive past 30 to get to 28. :geek:

This! Yeah I was blown away that he came over, leaned up against the fence and opened up like he did. He was pretty candid about some things too! Wish I could share some comments and answers he gave me on some things, but out of respect to him I better not. I know how things get spread and would hate for it to somehow get back and thrown on him. But I will say I gained a world of respect for our OC last nite!

Truth is he didnt tell a total stranger anything with the assumption of secrecy.

    Spill the beans man!

    Kidding of course.
