    Done.

Not sure what the problem was with this team, but far too much talent to have today happen. Worst score on the course, as the highest ranked team in a round they needed.

Gators had a real good year. A well deserved 5th ranking. But this was a disaster of a round. Those things happen in sports. Now comes a long off season of evaluation and tune-up.....plus recruiting

Those things don't just happen! There's evidence of it before it happens. What evidence or why we may not ever know. But to score the worst on a day when you need your best and being the highest ranked team in inexcusable. They had a meltdown in the SEC's as well. Something is not right.

Average score for the day on the course was +11. We are 13 shots behind that, worst by five shots, and the last place team shot thirteen better than us (and we could still drop more).

I think it's a case of, once the bubble pops, it pops big. When you know there's no chance, some golfers relax and have a string of birdies, others are so distraught, hard to concentrate and the round further unravels.

They did not melt down in SEC tourney and there was no evidence of this happening. They played well all year

They went into the last 2 hole gauntlet knowing they needed to catch Purdue. That likely led to aggressive play that just wasn't gonna work on those holes in these conditions. I have no problem with that though, it was qualify or bust so might as well go for it. End result was the team playing last 2 holes 13 over.

Don't leave it to the last two holes then. It should have never come to that.
