Give him time, his training regimen has not built him for this but I think his future is bright especially with an offseason to focus on building a body suited for drive and power, he's been training as a free safety, very different workout regimen/mindset.

Barking up wrong tree with Showers considering how recent his change was he's a bright spot

gurley is the best back in the sec---no question. matt is still sick--when he gets back to full strength against tennesee, he will put up big yards

Once the coach realizes that we are averaging 2.8 yards per carry a change in style is needed. I think with the success we had on the edge with Showers it would set up well with KT. Our line didn't have the push that we need to open the gaps for north/south running.

Taylor's probably wondering why WM didn't put him in the game in the fourth quarter, when UM's players were gassed.

Because he hasn't learned to block downfield I guess.

I've heard a lot of people say Muschamp is an excellent evaluator of talent. If he is then shouldn't he already know his talent doesn't fit his system?

I wish they would go ahead and start KT so every Gator board would shut up about how great he already is.

If his last name was anything but Taylor you wouldn't have to hear it simple as that

It seems odd to me how well our defense adapts after half time and our offense stays its course. Running up the middle didn't work all game and yet we continue to do it. Insanity!

I'm just asking for more options...not the start. Special players make plays. I agree that he hasn't done anything at this level, but with our lack of execution of the north/south game, one would think that fresh legs could help.

KT had 43 yards on five carries last week. He earned the right to see the field, especially in South Florida, where he probably had tons of family looking on.

We already had so many tjrnovers. Hasn't Kt been fumbling a bunch in practice?

That's because he was very good. He gained 27 yards on 4 carries, an avg of almost 7 YPC. The other RBs (and Jeff too) averaged less than 3 YPC. He also had the longest run from scrimmage, 12 yards.

Fisher had no concerns throwing Winston in the fire and look how he responded. WM doesn't even let his five-star back see the field, even after UM's defense had been out there all day. I bet they were bracing for KT's appearance. Reminds me of when Pell "forgot" to play Anderson against UGA in 1983.
