I missed where I expressed my undying love for Kelvin Taylor. Perhaps you can refresh my memory.

Matt Jones looked good against Kentucky...Bama gained over 650 yards against Kentucky's D last night.

Jones looked downright ordinary and average against everyone not named Kentucky.

Jones looked like he had his old burst back and was running hard before the injury. Watch the first drive which, by the way we score points. He actually look pretty good.

Showers needs more touches as this OLine is not strong enough to run up the middle.

And for the record, my mancrush is reserved for fellow Bishop Kenny alum Ahmad Fulwood.

If he's healthy will Matt start against miss or taylor?

We ran Matt 20 times in his first game back from a virus that hospitalized him. He'll probably carry it 30 times with a knee sprain.

It doesn't matter that Kelvin Taylor is our best runner. His place is on the bench with the rest of the underclassmen offensive players.

Should be Kelvin and Matt the rest of the way with around a 50/50 split. We can use Mack in 3rd and 1 situations

There's a lot of BK Gators on this board, apparently. Welcome to the club!

Yea, I'd agree. He looked powerful and was really moving the ball well. Kelvin ran the ball well too, so not a disservice to either, but we definitely missed Jones' blocking ability.

Right now I've seen enough to say Taylor is a better runner than Matt Jones. Whether or not he can block well enough to be the starter, I can't say.
