Thanks! Do you find it strange that Purifoy will play behind Watkins when I've seen him projected to go high in the NFL draft?

Maybe Muschamp is making him think of that rule violation so it doesn't seem so easy to get back on the first team. Same with Morrison.

Not really Purifoy has that projection because of his athleticism. Last year all three CB's rotated as well. I expect Roberson to play the most at CB and Purifoy Watkins & VH3 to all see plenty of time on the field as well.

I would be surprised if Jones is playing the full game, though.

Me too. The most obvious reason being his health. The other is that Brown proved to be a physical presence inside and was effective wearing down Toledo's defense. We might see even more of Showers than we did this week, but those will be plays designed just for him.

It might depend on who wins the toss. If UF's offense goes on the field first, Purifoy might see a few plays on offense, possibly even running some long routes. If that's the case, Watkins will start when the Gator defense takes the field.

Don't let the depth chart fool you. Purifoy is a two-way player.

I thought Herndon had the best burst.

Maybe, but he was going against a tired, beat down defense. Hard to gauge from that. But two of his runs, I LOVED his quick side step. Then he was flying down the field. We may have a gem. I also have to remind myself that was TOLEDO's defense. Lol

Glad to have Jones back. More glad to have the group of guys behind him who can also carry the ball. I'd like to see Ajagbe run it behind Joyer, too, right up the gut.

A lot of stars to be on that chart.

What I like about our running back situation is that Jones left the others behind in preseason and the others ain't bad. Throw in 2 excellent fullbacks, Showers, and Burton and we are stocked.

Herndon did look great, but he came in late and the D was fatigued. We've got a stable of capable RB's. I cant remember it ever being this good since the days of Anderson, John L, and Hampton.
