Not really......today he'd be considered either a RINO or a Democrat.
Or, if the likes of Eliott Spitzer, Anthony Weiner and that San Diego Mayor had been? Not saying I wish they had been killed, but I think some of those who are idolized by the left would have been proven to be quite the opposite as history had made them out to be had they live a full life.
We know that JFK and MLK were horrendous womanizers.
I certainly don't speak for everyone, and maybe it's due to reading this board, but I am raced out!
I did say in a later post, warts and all. Spitzer, Weiner and that mayor could not come close on their best day to the likes of MLK, RFK and JFK.....me thinks you're moving the goal posts here.
To live through these times and be able to look back and see the change of course isn't idolizing these men.
No. Not at all. Who's to say that JFK wasnt another Anthony Weiner and MLK another Elliott Spitzer had they NOT been taken out so early in their careers?
Again, its common knowledge that MLK and JFK were womanizers.
Who's to say that this change of course would NOT have happened without these men?
Since they were murdered we'll never know for sure however we do know the values and ideals they stood for have been slowly dismantled....their influence cut short.
Oh, it was him navel gazing on the 20th anniversary I think, about "who could imagined when the wall came down that however long after, a woman would lead Gemrnay and a black man would be President". Like a single effing Berliner on either side was worried about that.
That's a statement that makes the Berlin Wall all about him?
That's not even about the Berlin Wall...that's about the amount of change since the wall came down and it includes the female German Chancellor Angela Merkel...
This is Obama making it all about him?
Methinks this falls into the category of "Obama Obsession Disorder"
Yes, contemplating how likely his ascendance might have looked at the tim is him making it about him. That is what the expression "making it about you" means. Like anyone in Berlin in either side of the wall gave buggerall whether a unified Germany would have a woman Chancellor in 20 years, let alone the US a black President (spoilers -- they didn't).
Wow. We to desecrate old glory.
Glad to know you speak for all Germans
There wasn't just one little fraulein that hoped to have a Merkel one day?
JFK was a notorious womanizer- not sure he is someone to emulate
however, based upon his political comments and actions he would be a conservative today
values is a word that would be interesting to see how it would stack up with either Kennedy boys-they were both unfaithful to their wives
prezBO could not begin to carry MLK's water
That flag is genuinely revolting. Sickening.
As function of tearing down the Berlin Wall? Are you serious right now? That is just about the most asinine suggestion ever -- that even one, even a single person, ever formulated the thought "we need to bring down this wall in the hopes of female Chancellors and black Presidents".
I meant no reference to their personal lives.
ones personal morals affects ones business practices
if a man will cheat on his spouse then he will cheat in life
