That's some real nit picking. I think there are much more constructive things to find fault with this administration. This is just petty partisan bitching.

When taken as a singular event, I see your point. What I see is it is just another example that Obama is way in over his head and that his supporters will defend him no matter what, even when he is wrong. YMMV

you know, you guys can pretend he didn't exist, and say 'bbbb bush' all frickin day long, but the fact of the matter is, he did exist, and y'all did vote for him (though i find it's hilarious that i can't find a single solitary rightwinger who'll admit to voting for him. i wonder how he got elected)....furthermore, we're gonna pay you back with 'bbbbbbbbb obama'. i mean, you guys blame him for everything. if there's some clouds in the sky, and they interfere with reception during a gator game, you'd raise a fist to the heavens, and shout 'DAMMIT OBAMA!!' constipated? it's OBAMA'S FAULT.
i'm not telling you that something obama did is 'ok' cuz bush did something comparable. this is where you guys CONTINUALLY miss the point (derp!)
we're pointing out that the shit you bitch about now, wrt obama, you did NOT bitch about when that other guy did the same or a comparable action, (you know, the one....whatshisname...oh yeah, i can't say his name without resident rightwingers getting their undies in a bunch.....)

I voted for Bush twice, not because he was Republican, but because the Dems put up a real loser both times. Never denied it and haven't seen many here deny it either. Other than that, thanks for proving my point about not having anything new to say. You sure used a lot of words saying that though...

Yes .... and with obama it is very easy to find "poor judgement" and inappropriate behavior ... as he just makes it so damn easy.

Like I said, whiners will be whiners, and with no rational perspective at that

I feel sorry for those so consumed by partisanship that they reactively criticize anything and everything

    Wow...just wow.

Btw, not a right winger. His behavior was inappropriate but not to the point we should be making a huge issue out of it. Bush was awful, I hate Ronald Reagan and hope he's.....well....whatever. But Obama is making Carter look like the Best President Ever at this rate.

To reverse it, Obama could put everyone at Ben Hill under arrest and not let them leave until they paid a ransom, and his supporters would do it happily for the greater good. Any objectors would be shot.

    See how nonsensical this is?

Again, he could've handled it with more class, something he seems incapable of doing, but frankly I'm not shocked. I'm used to it.

I wrote in a vote for McCain in 2000 (in Florida! almost costing GWB the election), and for Kerry in 2004. I didn't like Kerry, but was unimpressed with what GWB had done to date, and felt that second terms are difficult for good presidents, much less idiots.

Actually, if you go back and look at the comments on here from 2006 - 2008, you will see that most conservatives realized that GWB wasn't getting the job done, and turned on him based on his fiscal incompetence, hurricane response idiocy, and difficulties in Iraq. They probably would have turned on him earlier (and possibly cost him the 2004 election) had the liberals not been so nasty in their criticism of GWB. The nastiness ("GWB is a chimp"--seriously? grow up!) caused conservatives to double down and defend GWB as a person, and overlook his incompetence as a politician. The same thing happened with Obama in the 2012 election. All the nastiness from the right wing, instead of focusing on Obama's record of incompetence, caused liberals to defend Obama in spite of his incompetence. Even Romney couldn't stay on message. Democrats were galvanized by all the extreme criticism and really hit the streets hard to get out the vote (of people who don't really care about politics and probably shouldn't be voting anyway), and it cost Romney the election. Had the criticism stayed more focused on Obama's record, and not gotten personal (which is hard for people to do, especially given the fact that Obama is a socialist), democrats might have realized that their candidate had failed them and the nation and let it go, which is what happened with Carter in 1980.

I guess Obama could have done what Reagan did right after the plane was shot in 1983: Stay on vacation and not say a word.

Meanwhile, Allen West knows whose to blame for the jet being shot down:

It never ceases to amaze me what topics can devolve into partisan bickering on this board.
