Last but far from least, April 17 I believe is the first day of the Spring signing period for 2014. In tennis many players, both domestic and foreign wait one semester before signing a scholarship with the college of their choice. They are now allowed to spend ONE semester, after graduation, playing as an amateur on the circuit. Many choose to do so, and then make up their mind, depending on tournament circuit results, whether they will sign on to play collegiate tennis. So it is not too late to add to the class at Florida for next season. We will see in April if Florida is fortunate enough to sign a player or two who can compete at the top of the lineup.
