.... force a few turnovers, 3:30 start time helps us avoid the rowdy 8pm crowd.. not impressed with their D, and we have a D that's a damn sight better then UGAly...

Lets get our gators pumped for this one!!! Kick some tigger a$$!!!!!

LSU can have a tendency to turn the ball over, but it's their run-game between the tackles we have to stuff to be able to make their offense one-dimensional.

Their Ol is huge and physical, but I'm not sure as athletic as last year, and their defense is not up to par like we've seen the last few years.

    Run and stop the run.

    It's a simple game.

Right now, I think we have a C-H-A-N-C-E. I will say this offense with Tyler - for some as yet unknown reason - just seems to have a touch extra zip over the Jeff led offense. Or am I dreaming? I won't go estimating the final score as that always jinxes us.

Shut down the run and get to the QB, if he has time to throw it might get ugly.

We can't run the ball, and our special teams (kicking wise) is bad. Plus, Murphy in Death Valley is not the same as Lexington, KY. I just don't see it. Maybe if our running game wasn't so average. I don't know if Murphy is capable of putting this team completely on his back yet. @LSU is probably the toughest place to play in the country right now. Hope I'm wrong!

That being said, Leak did it as true frosh. And that LSU team went on to win it all. (Saban era)

We win if we take care of the ball, be effective running, and Murphy keeps his composure all game.

Our defense will give us every chance to win. On offense we will move the chains if Murphy has more designed runs, especially early.

Our season will be defined by this game.

We will surely go in as underdogs, but that's ok:

    * Lose heavily and we're tainted goods the rest of the way.
    * Lose narrowly and we'll be seen as resilient in the face of injury/adversity.
    * Win narrowly and people will start to notice us nationally.
    * Win heavily and people will be jumping on the bandwagon quicker than Jadeveon Clowney thinks up excuses for not playing.

Let's give it our best shot.

We win if we outscore them. I am going to the game, and hope our team shows up. Maybe WM needs to give MJ another pep talk. We have to have a running game, control clock but must score. If we can run effectively, chew up time, I really like our chances. Bottom line we will win if we score more pts then them.

ZM is much better than last year and his Oline is looking good. We have to keep them one dimensional and get him off the field.

We need to go into their kitchen and make a po'boy.

Our team hasn't really been challenged yet. Thus far, our AQ conference opponents are 3-9, with all three wins by Miami. I think LSU starts our REAL season. Fortunately, I think Tyler and the offense is up to the challenge.

I think we match up very well against LSU right now, even without Easley.

LSU's running game has not been very good this year. I think our defense should be able to control their running game and and we have the corners to man up on Beckham and Landry and force LSU to work their way down the field.

LSU's defense is nowhere near what they've been the past few seasons. Plenty of raw talent but very young and they make lots of mistakes.

I think this will be a very close and low scoring game. Probably a fairly ugly game. But I think there are probably more "ifs" on LSUs side than our side.

    We win if we:

    1) Win the TO battle: We've lost two regular season games in two years both due to TO's

    2) We play ball control, with some downfield throws to WR mixed in: We cannot allow LSU to get into rhythm and our wear out our DL. The df throws should help our run game which needs all the help it can get right now.

    3) We score Td's in the red zone: A close game that comes down to FG's is not to our advantage.

    4) We make them one dimensional: Either run or pass, at this point I don't know which is best. If we can maintain gap discipline and we keep our DL/DB fresh we can stop them.

    5) We get Harrison, Purifoy (seemed hurt at end), Roberson back. Patton, Morrison and Taylor continue to improve and we get contributions from DRobinson, Westbrook (TE) and maybe even Kelvin Taylor.

    6) The coaches have to believe in TM and he has to believe in himself. No he does not have the strongest arm, but he makes quick decisions which should allow 2-10 yard passes to become TD's by throwing to open men in the open field. And from time to time the scramble that makes a sack a 17 yrd. reception and 3rd down conversion.
