Does anyone have the full video clip from LSU's first TD? It looked like their player stomped on our guys face after he lost his helmet. I saw he went out injured but they never showed the replay enough to see what happened at the end of the play.

Anyone else see this / have the video they can post? As big a deal as they made out of Spikes "poke" back a few years ago - if this did happen I would think it would be way worse than that!

How is ripping a helmet off not an automatic ejection.

IMO much dirtier, and more dangerous than targeting!

Someone coul have fallen / stomped murph there.

the Player was the one that made the tackle without his helmet on- #4 Damien Jacobs. He left the game for awhile and then the sideline lady said "He is going to the locker room after getting kicked in the head." The announcers just said they thought it was from the contact at the line.
It happened fast when it was live but it sure looked to me like the LSU player did. Jacobs came back before the half was over and at half I saw him run up and get in the refs face and give him an ear full.

84 was the guy involved in the pushing and extracurricular activity all night even at the end of the game. I'm sure if he was the one then no wonder the UF players were pissed at him. Hats off to LSU on the game as a whole - but I hope to see video of this incident and if the guy did do it I hope there is some serious repercussions.
No one has video of it?

84 Stokes ... it happened during the scuffle after. The camera angle doesn't show the contact, but does show Stokes do a "stomping motion" towards the ground. Nobody around it saw what happened, including players and officials that were right there ...

yes their first one - when our player #4's helmet came off when he made the hit at the lineof scrimmage. He floated around for awhile on top of the pile - then he falls / gets pulled to the bottom and I think thats when it happened

LSU O-line was flat out cheap today. They would not have gotten away with 80% of their BS on the road

I was wondering the same thing. You can't tell me there isn't some kind of a rule that that guy could have been suspended for. The intent was to injure plain and simple.

I'd imagine the intent was to sit out a play, or at least hope so.

Either way is be glad if the NCAA looks into this. Suspension of 1-4 games for removal of helmet like that. It's bush league and could seriously injure players. NOT to be handled by the refs -_-

    I found a replay:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gx3I3UJ1Eg4

Right at the end of the 26 minute mark - as they score - our #4's helmet comes off when he makes contact and he is standing up on in the pile, then right before they cut away at 26:48 you see an LSU player realize and dive at him (almost looks as if he's going for a fumble - however the ball carrier has the ball so he's clearly going for our players unprotected head. Our player obviously then is taken down to the ground - he was not injured making the tackle because he is standing up after the TD then goes down when he's hit by LSU guy)

The camera then cuts to Les Miles face, then cam cuts back - at 26:54 you can see #84 (Logan Stokes I believe) throw a punch down to a player on the ground (Can't see the gator but again I'm assuming its our #4 with no helmet on) and then get up and stomp on our guy in the face (26:56-57). The pile clears some and our #4 is laying on the ground holding his face.

The announcers "Logan Stokes showing a little enthusiasm" is a very poor way to describe the despicable conduct of Logan Stokes here.

Now this didn't have an impact on the game - we got beat fair and square by a team that out played us in every area - but this is something that needs to be sent to the SEC and Stokes should be suspended. That's horse crap bush league play and should not be tolerated.
