They will be heavy favorites in the East. I will say that there have been other teams with loaded rosters that still haven't won any championships (Thunder, Clippers, etc) This might trump them as far as talent goes. I would be surprised if they don't win at least 1 title in the next 3 years.

Good offensively but where's the defense??
As it did in Miami it will take time to gel.
I think Joakim will get to taste the Finals next year, but a Western Conference team will hoist the banner.

It won't take as long as in Miami since there's no Wade who thinks he's still the best. Lebron is clearly the captain of that ship and the others are just skippers or deck-mates.

If Rose stays healthy I like the Bulls in the East as well

Interested in seeing how well Kyrie Irving adjusts to not having the ball in his hands and Kevin Love as a side kick.
I don't know if the "Chemistry" will be as good as everyone seems to think it will be.
Cavalier and Timberwolves have had a loser team mentality that isn't gotten rid of in the snap of a finger.
Who will LeBron yell at now that he doesn't have Mario Chalmers to kick around.

The Shaq/Kobe/Malone/PAyton Lakers is a pretty good example of a loaded roster falling short.

Teams better work on offensive efficiency against the Cavs. That team is going to be hell in transition.

Wow, guess you are not a Wade fan. I've never heard anybody put the Heat's "chemistry" issue on Wade like that before. Cant say I agree either. In fact, it was Lebron that came up short against the Mavs in the finals, not Wade.

Should be exciting in the East this coming season. Waiting for "Strange" to way in on the Bulls' chances.

I'm not Strange...although some here would disagree.
Chicago will be fighting Cleveland for lake supremacy.

The Heat have added some good players in Luol Deng, McRoberts and Danny Granger. Excited about James Ennis as a Rookie.
As long as injuries don't affect them they will have a say in the East. I'd put them as a 3 or 4 seed.

They'll just need Derrick Favors, Rudy Gay, and Ramon Sessions to round out the starting 5.

Not a Chicagoan but as a fan of the Jo's team I'll throw out my reasoning. Obviously it all depends on Rose staying healthy, but he looked REALLY good in the USA scrimmage last week and was the MVP his last full season, so they have a superstar. Jo is the reigning DPOY and All NBA center. They have probably the deepest frontcourt in the NBA, so their size could give teams problems. Not only are they tall up front but their bigs are athletic and can run. Then throw in organic growth of some promising players in Snell and Butler and while it was only summer league it looks like I may be very wrong about McDermott. Throw in one of the best coaches and the continuity of the team and I like their chances.

I think that team would have won it all if Malone hadn't gotten hurt.

I will always root for joekim, however, I am not a fan of rose, or his game. Don't like shoot first point guards.

Not only that but Payton and Malone were hardly stars anymore.
