Normally I cringe at the thought of starting a UK thread here, but this is an exciting match up. Cardinals favored by 1 to 2.5 pts. I see the Cats getting some surprising production at the PG position and winning this big game at home. No rooting interest here, but a strong UK boosts our schedule strength. Then again, seeing the Catz go down would be fun too! ;)

The other game is still on. We (and the SEC) need a UK win.

F Louisville! I have no idea what to expect honestly....the crowd should be bonkers and that has to help. I love this team but growing up needs to start today!

I'm not a fan of the one & done team, but it does provide some interest to see how well this type of team comes together.

Well, for SEC purposes, certainly a Wildcat victory would be preferred.

And, of course, in out and out conflicts, it is the rare cardinal that can beat a wildcat.

But then again, all sorts of wimpy animals beat an aligator this past fall, so perhaps mascots don't really tell much about a team's ability.

Pretty good game thus far. Kentucky is extremely physical and is going to be tough as hell to beat at home where the whistle is going to be a little tighter. I think they're going to be one of about ten teams this year that could beat just about anyone if given the chance. Their height and athleticism sort of transcends a bad matchup.

Strong half by UK. Randle was a monster and stayed out of foul trouble. And they did get some scoring from A Harrison at the point.

One of most physically impressive teams I've seen in awhile.

Tough to judge UKs physical toughness by this game alone. Louisville is a smallish type of team this year and has a multiple flaws. I think they're over-rated to be honest. The only ranked team they have played all year was a loss to UNC.

I would consider this a bad loss for UK if they went down to this UL team in Rupp

The way I see it...this game was a toss up. Who ever plays at home would win. Both teams struggle to score consistently and rely on streetball/trabsition scoring. Not impressed by either team.

I see a young team growing up and growing a pair. They have to close it out as a TEAM!

Uk is definitely the better team, but this ul team is not impressive at all. They have great team speed and one good shooter, but little else.

Andrew Harrison is the key to any success uk will have. This was easily his best game to date.

Either some good defense being played or both these teams are just not that great.

Credit to Kentucky for a big win, but I'm not sure either of these teams are top 10 as it stands.

It is amazing just how rough Ky can play and not be called for fouls

Very happy with the win. We got better and had fight the whole game. Very proud of the Harrison's and the way the team stepped up when our leader went down. Woo I can breathe again!

The latter......ul is a team that should be ranked no higher than 20th, if at all.

Uk didn't show me anything that I know we can't handle. I think we match up very well against them. Although it was big for them to see Andrew Harrison make a nice step forward.

We aren't very good, but as we got better today and that is great to see! It is always fun beating Pitino's ass!
