Lots of visits with his family to Georgia. That's tough. Hope we can get him. Judging by the interview and the amount of activity on the Georgia campus with him and his entire family seems Georgia is the leader. Seems he loves Florida and champ but sometimes home trumps out. Hope I'm wrong here but you can't just gloss over all of his time at Georgia.

We win or lose this recruit because of must champ this is his personal recruit so it sounds to me like he needs to get down to Gainesville again before signing day

First, It’s Muschamp and maybe Carter just wants to stay close to home. HC’s don’t win every ballte for top recruits, so to say we lose him becuase of Muschamp is a no brainer, but not becuase he didn’t do his job. I think Carter is sched. to visit for the FSU/UF game.

And I know but he has ready taken an official to Florida, I don't think you can take 2 officials to one school unless he's just deciding to go to the game

It happens… As much negativity thats been going on around these boards of late, I wasn’t sure if you were one of the Neg-nellys. ;) If he makes it down for the game it’'ll still help especially if the fans can help provide a great atmosphere and I think the coaches can still speak with him. The trip itself is just on his own dime I believe.

I also think the coaches will be allowed one last visit after the season as well and those are usually in-homes. Getting the last in-home is usually a big help. I could be wrong and maybe one of the insiders like AZ can help with that.

Isn't the AJC the same source that got this whole board riled up about Antonio Riles? I mean, not that they would ever spin something like this from a pro-Georgia point of view or anything, but I'm not sure that Georgia has quite the commanding lead for him that this guy leads us to believe. If you read the comments from 'Dawg fans underneath the update, they certainly don't sound as confident that they'll land him.

While Florida may not be the place to see offensive fireworks, Muschamp and his staff have clearly shown the ability to develop and place defensive players in the pros. I'd argue that Muschamp would be as good as any coach in America in that regard.

I wouldn't pencil Carter in as a 'Dawg just yet.

    L. Carter: Lawing's like my 3rd grandpa, Muschamp's like a crazy uncle & T-Rob's like an annoying little brother. But they feel like family. :)
