Pitt is not a bad 8-seed but we should take them pretty easily.

Pitt has some good bigs inside and can shoot the 3. Then we have to face a good UCLA or VCU too. The South looks to be the toughest region by far.

Pittsburgh as an 8? They're 5 level material. The selection committee proves its stupidity every year/

Pitt would be a tough out, but at least the game is in Orlando.

Louisville as a 4th seed is a huge joke. Did Pitino screw someone's wife on the committee? That is ridiculous.

The committee is also sticking it to Wichita State and UK.

I am going to speculate we will be in the night session Thursday since we played today and the play in game is tuesday in dayton. Louisville heads the other pod playing in Orlando and since they played saturday, they should be in the day session

Pitt is very under seeded. They should have been a #4 according to BPI.

Hey, hey, hey....you all are overlooking my Albany Great Danes (yes, that is the mascot) who not only fought to win whatever crummy conference but endured wicked cold temperatures at a school that was designed to create wind tunnels (true story - designed to be put in Southwest USA). These guys are battle tested and have some legacies from the great Jewish set shooters of the 1950's....could freak out the whole Gator team on Thursday.

Hell, I hope we just win the play-in game.

I would hope our perimeter defense would be able to handle a bunch of Jewish set shooters who still somehow had eligibility left from over 50 years ago. Just a hunch that they weren't very tall. Also, this was before the SUNY system existing now that de-emphasizes sports. (My wife attended two SUNY schools before transferring to Emory. No wonder she knew so little about college sports.) Don't we have our own Jewish set shooter, a walk-on, who occasionally comes out to throw up a few threes?
