Gosh I'm so shocked to hear this.....that while Tennessee was leading the charge to apply a new rule retroactively to strip UF of an SEC title it had already been awarded, they had this guy running around their program....in addition to the stuff they actually did get busted for which put them on probation at about the same time.

Ha! I love that he seems annoyed at the greed of players when he himself was part of the reason it happened in the first place.

Classy. Shows how toothless the system really is...

75-year-old "life long bachelor" who lived to give money and gifts to sweaty athletic boys at several different schools (he did this for much more than Tennessee). I wonder what his motivation was. :)

seems that here in Tuscaloosa that a certain dodge dealership has deals out for players considering that almost everyone of the names that have came out in the last few years have had new chargers

I don't think it does happen everywhere. SEC fans want to believe it does. Now that the old dirty SWC is defunct it leaves the SEC alone at the top in more than just the polls.

Sounds like the Fo0rd dealership and R&R Truck Sales in Tally during the '90's. Anquan Boldin was riding around in a new SUV a week after he suddenly switched from UF to fsu on NSD that year. His parents also later got a new house to live in. Go figure...

Hungary just owned a certain poster in a major way. Careful, we might be put on triple secret probation for that one.

UNC's NCAA trouble got Butch Davis fired. In the SEC he would have gotten a raise. Come on nothing at other schools the level of rule breaking and bending is incidental not normal operation procedures.

I agree that it probably doesn't happen everywhere for football. It probably doesn't happen as much at Duke or Kentucky in football, but you know it happens there for basketball.

I tend to believe that the big schools near the top (Bama, UF, LSU) probably don't cheap as much, at least for recruits, because they don't have to.

I believe it's the schools that are either trying to either keep up or get to the next level, (like Tennessee, FSU, UNC, Auburn) that are going to need to do something more to get kids to want to pick their school.

Since UF is recruiting so well, it stands to reason we're cheating. I wouldn't be surprised if Grier shows up on campus with a brand-new horse and buggy.

I remember back when Pell got us in so much trouble, someone hired a plane to fly a banner over the stadium that said "Hell yes we cheat!"

If he is such a fan, why would he expose himself to hurting tenn with ncaa sanctions? It seems a true fan would not want to hurt his team.
