Exactly, there's a reason real estate costs more in San Francisco than Detroit, in Boston than Mississippi, in New York than almost all of Texas.
    Supply and demand.

Exactly! And in Texas the jobs created are not likely to be lost to some foreign country because of unions and their ridiculous demands. NY is an utter joke for manufacturing businesses... compared to Texas.

Low wages and no affordable place to live (whisper)..........

    http://observer.com/2013/04/low-wag...-new-york-but-where-can-the-poorly-paid-live/

"The growth in low-wage jobs has been mirrored by the growth of high-wage jobs, particularly in the city’s burgeoning tech sector. Which is good, of course, but for the fact that New York is in an increasingly polarized city that low-income workers really can’t afford to live in at all. Given that those low-income workers make the city run for high-income workers, it would appear that New York is in an increasingly untenable position."

Well not all of them, not the high-tech or high-skill jobs. We need that freaking fence built.

The new immigration bill wants to let in high tech workers so they can take dollars from that set of workers also.

The guy from facebook is leading that stance as he wants to fire Americans and replace them with cheaper import labor.
