    It seems like they (especially Morrison) commit too quickly and are out of position to make the tackles a lot of the time. Has anyone else noticed this?

    They played poorly yesterday and last week for sure.

    Yes that is an understatement.

    I can't remember the last time one of our linebackers made a play. I'd love to see the tackle numbers of our linebackers compared to others on the team.

    I'd rather have some strong smart guys playing the LB position, that might run a bit slower, than these high octane athletes that are dumb as a box of rocks. Not saying our guys are that dumb... but just that we need to get smart guys too.

    According to the announcers yesterday, Morrison had 12 tackles against LSU. Don't know what more could be expected of him. Without good Dline play, LBers have a difficult time making any kind of plays because they have blockers to contend with that the Dline didn't take out.
