    I told people that Miami was greatly improved this year, but the SEC honks insisted on dismissing them. Understand this:

    * We wanted to be there;

    * We didn't give the game away; Miami's D took it;

    * We would not beat them 9 out of ten tries.

    For a change, try to give credit to the other team.

    And what we do NOT need to do is to blame Muschamp, blame Pease, blame Driskel, blame Meyer, Addazio, Mullen, Zook, Zaun, Hoke, Pruett, Amadee and Dickey (did I go back far enough?).

    We need to take a deep breath. This game reminded me of Bama-Virginia Tech. We need to re-adjust and prepare for the SEC.

    It's OK. We can still win the SEC. We CAN!

    So leave us all alone and go buy some scUM gear.

    Why, you're already halfway there: their fanbase is defined by bandwagonism.

    Lol Miami is not that good. We gave the game away. How many offensive yards did Miami have in quarters 2 to 4? Mr. All world duke Johnson had very minimal effect. Stephen Morris didn't look like an nfl qb.

    Sorry but I disagree. We held the ball for 40 minutes. We gave the game to them. Jeff's 2 redzone picks were horrible mistakes not the result of some exotic defensive design. If we don't spend the first 10 minutes on D screwing around we could have won this game 3-0. I suspect Miami will lose 2-4 games this year.

    "We gave the game away." Loser talk...

    How come when we stomp teams with less than 300 yards of total offense, it is because our defense beat them at critical points?

    It doesn't work both ways.

    That's fine but Miami did very little in this game that impressed me. We put up one td there and they are ready to fire their oc. Their offense was a joke. I give them credit that they caught the int thrown at them and the fumbles dropped in front of them.

    No doubt their DL WHIPPED our OL.They stuffed the run and put pressure on JD
    They also burned our DEF twice .......sometimes that's all it takes to lose

    False. We controlled the game. The problem was our inability to adjust to the blitz. That was disappointing. We doubled them in yards and TOP. How can you say they whipped us. More of a matter of making timely plays.

    The Gator defense was dominant! Let's focus on that and let the coaches figure out what do do with the offense. I don't give a damn how many yards we pile up if we can't put the ball in the end zone. The turnovers have to stop!!!

    This is the correct answer. But the turnovers were not given to Miami. They TOOK them. Did they give us THEIR turnovers, or did we TAKE them?

    Aren't we always? No.

    I think Miami's defense is greatly improved. They played the classic Charlie Strong "bend but not break" defense, and in the red zone, they closed in fast on Jeff's throws. Gotta give them credit, rather than so many throwing Jeff under the bus...

    No, more so this year...with a full offseason with Pease and Driskell, RBs, better WRs and Oline...

    Miami's D was a question mark...we put up good yardage and TOP #s and yet did not score because of TOs, penalties, and questionable play calling in the red zone...

    Miami out played us and deserved the win. They wanted the game more.
    I still believe we are the better team. The gators got out coached today. The canes were better prepared.
